Sabifoo :: Instant Possibility
This is one of the neatest things I’ve seen lately. You’re already online with some Instant Messaging client anyway, so why not use it to store random notes?

  • I am using this method (smbmount & dd) right this minute to (hopefully) grab as much as I can off my laptop harddrive that just blew up for no good reason, with no warning. I have multiple partitions, including FAT32,NTFS, and ext3. Luckily ‘dd’ doesnt

OnlyWire site updated

Saturday, July 15th, 2006

I noticed yesterday morning that OnlyWire finally released some site updates. They resolved a few of my issues with them. There is now a “My Account” section where you can change your password yourself, no more emailing them the password you want to use. They responded to my message about Spurl finally, saying it wasn’t broken and that i should check my login/password. I did; they work just fine when i log directly in to the site. Waiting to see if they respond to my message telling them this.

They also added a logo and favorite icon to jazz things up a bit. The “bookmark & email” button in their bookmarklet still does not work (in firefox) i get the JS error “d.email has no properties”. They finally updated the frames version of their ’save page’ bookmarklet so you can

  • mark the url as private
  • see a list of your tags and click on them to auto fill the form
  • choose which of the services you want to post the link to

It is definitely interesting that all these changes were made the day after I wrote the original post

OnlyWire: could you please change the main page (after a user logs in) to NOT show their various accounts’ passwords in plaintext?
